Everything can happen on a flight even that a passenger become the pilot of the plane. Well, let’s try to tell this story properly. Early this month a flight was scheduled to fly from Manchester to Alicante. All the passengers were ready to take off but the pilot didn’t show up. It can happen in the office on a Monday morning that one of your colleagues is sick or decides not to come at work. Well, this happened in the airport in Manchester.

First thing, the flight has been delayed. At the beginning the delay was of 2 hours and then time increased. The staff told the passengers that they were not sure if the flight would have taken off or not. Everyone just wanted to reach their holiday destination after paying for that flight. It happen frequently that after delaying the flight it is cancelled. It is such a shame but in this case thanks to a hero it didn’t happen.

A passenger became the pilot of an EasyJet flight: the hero’s name is Michael Bradley

Michael Bradley is an EasyJet pilot that was on that flight early this month. He was ready to take off and go on holiday with his children and wife. When he understood that the flight would have been cancelled decided to call the ariline company. He took his licence and ID along to the airport after being warned the Sunday evening flight was delayed by two hours. So Michael offered his service and EasyJet accepted.

When Michael told the passengers he was the pilot for that flight everyone was concerned because he had a t-shirt, shorts and flip flops on. But he reassured everyone. In the end he became the hero of that flight and for all the passengers that just wanted to go on holiday and reach their destination.
